To activate a mandrake root

The way you activate a mandrake root is by placing the root in a vessel of warm water and leave it in a prominent location in your home for three days without disturbing it. Then the root is activated and ready to use in your magical practice. You can also use the water the the root has bathed in to sprinkle at the doors and windows to protect your home.
