It’s sad and also comforting to look on one of the most popular young adult authors blogs, that of Francesca Lia Block…and see that no one comments on a lot of her posts too. Sometimes you want share, it’s how we make friends, how we connect, a way to stay grounded with the world. Yet sometimes, no matter how beautiful or or interesting we are, the world doesn’t respond by sharing back. Or maybe silence is a kind of sharing. What do you hear in the silence?
