We’ve partnered with MTV’s Look Different (@lookdifferentmtv) and It’s On Us (@its-on-us) to draw attention to stories of those who stepped up and stopped a sexual assault. It’s called Bystander Intervention, and it’s the act of disrupting a situation before something bad turns worse.
We’re asking for help from the Tumblr community. If you have a story to share about your experience with Bystander Intervention, share it. Not ready to share, or don’t have an example, but still want to participate? We’re also looking for people to make some art based on any of the already submitted stories collected by @its-on-us. A painting, an illustration, some ASCII, a ballpoint pen doodle on a napkin, whatever it is, we want to see it. Just submit it to MTV right over here.
