Honor Your Ancestors Spell

Hi guys! It’s April 30th here in the south hemisphere so that means it’s winternacht/samnhain for some of us. The veil between the planes is thinner and I thought it would be a good time to make a spell to honor the deceased members of my family and get some of their strenght inside me.

Materials:

An apple
A knife
A gardening shovel
Sage
Honey
Basil

What to do: 

1. Cut off the core of the apple but leave the top untouched, so you can cover it again.
2. Fill it with things you’d like to share with your ancestors, like sage (for wisdom), basil (for love) and honey (for good fortune).
3. Put the top of the apple back and carve a sigil on the side of the apple. Don’t forget to charge it.
4. Bury it on your backyard to keep your lost loved ones close.
