Hi beauty! ❤ Recognizing that they are sentient, emotional beings is the first step of course! Other than that, animals think in images and in empathetic feelings. Developing empathy in ourselves is the best way to be able to tune in to anyone’s thoughts. Every thought creates a vibration and when you learn how to perceive these vibrations, you have tapped into the concept known as telepathy. =) As simple as it sounds, sometimes the best method is to ask, “How would I feel in this situation?” This isn’t the purest method since we are all very different but obviously if we were a tiny spider on the ground with big feet stomping around us we might be a bit concerned haha! Send an image with a strong feeling to your pet. Imagine your cat playing in a field of catnip. =D See if they perk up! Sometimes they will turn to look at you. My cat Nightshade will chirp and start flirting with you to see if you’ll give her actual catnip haha! It may take some practice as you learn to connect with your animals but it is something that is very natural to all of us. Understand that animals cherish their independence like we do and that they aren’t playthings meant for our entertainment… they are powerful, spiritual beings with great lessons to give. When they see that we recognize their power, they feel validated and are more inclined to open up! One of the people in this world I feel VERY in alignment with is Anna Breytenbach. My friend William has been very interested in why mountain lions and wolves and bears act like domesticated puppies around me but it is really simple and straightforward. When we communicate that we are just there to honor the animals they have no reason to be aggressive with us. When they see that they are no longer food to us but are co-creators and wise fellow beings they respect us greatly. =D I’ve attached Anna’s short documentary below.. One of the best visualizations that you can practice with (if you go to zoos or are around animals in captivity) is imagining the animal in their natural habitat. When you do that, they are attracted to that image and are more inclined to be tuned into you! =D I’ll paste a picture of me with a lion at the Colorado (Cheyenne Mountain) zoo… I always got in for free so I would go around and send reiki to the animals. This lion saw how regal I thought he was… so he decided to lay down next to me and talk to me about what he really wanted to experience in life. Animals are on spiritual journeys too and we must learn to respect that if we all want to live in peace. ❤
