A new favourite word I discovered during a reading session about bone composition, piezoelectricity (discovered in 1880) is the the electric quality taken on by solids such as ceramic, crystal, and bone in response to pressure, taking on weight, or being stretched.

I had to laugh to myself when I read the definition because I am in a season when I am feeling the pressure, feeling the weight of all I need to do, and definitely being stretched to grow. And yet, there’s still this electricity running through me in the form of endurance, new vision, and excitement for my tomorrow. I’m piezoelectric–down to the bone.
