After hearing of Alan Rickman’s passing I felt an overwhelming sense of loss and abandonment. I felt fear. The kind that, against every instinct in me, makes me want to run into the arms of a Gryffindor. To listen to the wisdom of a Ravenclaw. To let a Hufflepuff wipe my tears.

If ever Slytherin were to show solidarity, it would be today. Don’t turn us away.
