Roots 14-Card Spread
This is the spread that I do whenever I want a thorough reading done without having to keep drawing one more card. This spread covers everything (at least for me) and I usually don’t have any questions after using it.
For it cards 1 & 2 are your Main cards.
Main cards are the cards that pertain to what the reading is about.
An example being if you want to know if someone is interested in you and a main card suggests unexpected new friendship. Now the main card doesn’t literally say “love” or anything like that but it suggests the route the reading will take. There are two main cards, one to indicate what the start of your journey and reading will be like and one to indicate what the end result will be. They also link the whole reading together (see Link cards).Cards 3 & 4 are your Past cards.
Past cards are the cards that pertain to past experiences that influence this reading in some way.Cards 5 & 6 are your Present cards.
Present cards are the cards that pertain to present experiences that influence this reading in some way.Cards 7 & 8 are your Future cards.
Future cards are the cards that suggest future experiences that are likely related to the outcome of your Main cards.Link cards are just the links, fillers middle, or between the other cards.
For example your Past Start suggests something holding you back. Your Past End suggests new growth. Your Link cards may suggest severing ties with negative people and focusing on yourself.Hope this reading helps you as much as it helps me!~
