The line leads out to Merbach Hill which is the huge view across the Wye valley to the Black Mountains and the Brecons. It is blowing 30mph down here so the gods only know what it’s like on Merbach at 1000 feet !!! Oh well, we’ll see, I don’t fancy getting blown down 1000 feet to the Wye.”
