I wanted to know what it felt like to find my center, my peace, in the midst of chaos. So I wandered into the very center of New York City’s Times Square, where a crowd of people were nose to nose and moving at the pace of distraction and sensory overload. I sat down. And began to meditate. Eventually I was alone, in a large, empty space. People just cleared away. Eventually, a crowd of had formed from the direction of the video camera, which was filming my little test with myself and Spirit. The woman in the far right of this frame is running into the space to get her photo taken behind me. Some people stared, some people giggled, some people asked, “Are you praying? What are you doing?” And I only know this from watching the film. Because I did it. I found my peace. I was safe, and I was unaffected by what was happening around me. It is achievable, at all times, anywhere. It penetrates all things and it cannot be removed from your soul. It is beckoning you always. Thank you for letting me share this image with you. It was a transformational moment in my life, letting go of all inhibitions, fears of what would happen to me, or of being ridiculed… it just didn’t matter. All that mattered was the peace and love I felt. And somehow, souls recognize souls that order peace. Even if they don’t understand or remember it for what it is. One Love to you…. Ana.
